YES IT WAS A START OF SOMETHING NEW

Many weren’t even aware of how much this country means to them , but now things have changed by the 25th of jan protestors calling for the basic rights and dying for them , and watching them getting their goals achieved .
Not ashamed to tell that I never cared about anything related to Egypt, and that poverty, homelessness and unemployment never really mattered to me , cause now I’m proud , so proud to be Egyptian.
Egypt’s having a makeover.

another week is over. Some support and others oppose to the government , while I'm watching speechlessly, head over heels...

The start of something new

I ignored the 25th of jan event as I ignore almost every event invitation I receive on facebook , it sounded like an ordinary protest with people shouting, cursing and commiting sabotage to other citizens’ properties , with cops trying to back them off harshly. I thought there’d be a thousand at most , protesting for just an hour or a couple of hours .
Even when I saw the number it didn’t change my mind , seemed like the mob I see when our national team wins a match!
But to my surprise they were really respectful, didn’t insult and didn’t damage things . They kept holding on to their march for hours , taking the cruelty of the cops and not giving up , and only then I knew that I’ve never known a thing!
Now I’m dying to be with them , now I’m really proud they have the guts to face everything and call for their rights..
It’s not a protest but simply a revoloution.
